In 2018 Help Us Raise Funds For Local Breast Cancer Organizations

Buy a Rack Save a RackEvery October the Rib & Chop House supports those who have faced the toughest of obstacles — cancer. In 2018 we are proud to help raise funds for local breast cancer organizations during Breast Cancer Awareness Month with our ‘Buy a Rack, Save a Rack” event.

Throughout the month of October all Rib & Chop House restaurants will be donating $1 to local non-profts for every full rack of baby back ribs sold. We will also ask our customers to help out by adding a donation (voluntary) when they pay. Over thirty-one days in October we hope to raise thousands of dollars to support breast cancer survivors and their families — and the organizations working so hard to do good in our communities.

In 2018 we have partnered with three amazing organizations in Montana, Utah and Wyoming to help support local breast cancer initiatives:

Montana: Pack the Place in Pink
Pack the Place in Pink is a non-profit whose mission is to help local, Montana breast cancer patients. They are a Montana organization working to support breast cancer patients in Montana, providing them with financial assistance.

Wyoming:  Wyoming Breast Cancer Intiative
The Wyoming Breast Cancer Initiative (WBCI), in partnership with the Wyoming Community Foundation, has a mission to increase breast cancer awareness and prevention across Wyoming. Since 2016, the WBCI raises funds through various volunteer-led events throughout the state that are then granted into community breast cancer organizations and into a statewide early detection voucher program. Money raised in Wyoming, stays in the state.

Salt Lake City: Image Reborn Foundation
Image Reborn Foundation’s mission is to empower women to live fully beyond breast cancer by providing no-cost weekend and one-day retreats. Retreats are open to any woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Facilitated by a professional staff with backgrounds and experience in addressing the special concerns of women with breast cancer, Image Reborn was founded in1998. The retreats are offered at no charge to participants. A stipend is available for guests traveling from outside of Utah.

With so many wonderful non-profits out there it was hard to choose, but we couldn’t be more excited to partner up and help support our communities.  So grab a rack, a save a rack this October with the Rib & Chop House. And if you ever have any questions make sure to find us on Instagram and Facebook! We will be painting our social media pink so we should be fairly easily to spot.
