Welcome to the Rib & Chop House—home of premium steaks, fresh seafood and award-winning baby back ribs, all served in a casual atmosphere.
The Rib & Chop House started with Burke and Melissa Moran, longtime restaurateurs who were building their next idea while operating TJ Ribs in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Burke’s early years around his father’s Ruth’s Chris Steak House sparked a lifelong passion for great steaks, great drinks, and memorable guest experiences. When their love for the mountains brought them west, they opened the first Rib & Chop House in Livingston, Montana, in 2001.
Since then, the restaurant has grown across the region while staying true to its roots, serving Certified Angus Beef, celebrating local and craft brewers, and delivering genuine Rocky Mountain Hospitality. Our goal has always been simple: to be the place our communities gather for celebrations, family dinners, and everything in between.
